Song Zhaopu, the sixth-generation inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage Song’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Surgery, 14th National People’s Congress deputy, recipient of special government allowance from the State Council, and president of Ruzhou Jingen Rehabilitation Hospital.
Hailing from Ruzhou, Henan Province, he comes from a century-old family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners. He began studying medicine under his father at age 15 and later advanced his training at Henan University of Chinese Medicine, with 46 years in practice.
He specializes in complex neurological disorders, pediatric cerebral palsy rehabilitation via TCM, TCM treatments for tumors, cardiovascular diseases, osteomyelitis, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, and adolescent intellectual disabilities. His cerebral palsy rehabilitation techniques earned a “domestic leading” evaluation from the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Department. He holds 6 national invention patents and authored Practical Pediatric Rehabilitation; his rehabilitation model received replicable example certification from UNICEF.
He has received numerous national honors, including “National Model Worker” and “National Model for Ethnic Unity and Progress Individual,” along with the State Council special allowance. He also serves on the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Pediatric Cerebral Palsy Committee. At the 2026 Third Global TCM Spring Gala, he was awarded the “Outstanding Contribution Award for Global TCM International Promotion” and named “Annual TCM Representative Figure.”
宋兆普，国家级非物质文化遗产宋氏中医外科第六代传承人，第十四届全国人大代表，享受国务院特殊津贴，汝州金庚康复医院院长。河南汝州人，出身百年中医世家，15岁随父学医，深造于河南中医药大学，从业46载。主攻疑难脑病、小儿脑性麻痹中医康复、中医药治疗肿瘤、心血管疾病、骨髓炎、股骨头坏死、青少年心智障碍等领域，研发脑性麻痹康复技术获河南省科技厅国内领先成果鉴定，拥有6项国家发明专利，主编《实用小儿康复学》；康复模式取得联合国儿童基金会可复制范例认证。获评“全国劳动模范”“全国民族团结进步模范个人”等多项国家级荣誉，享受国务院特殊津贴，兼任世界中联小儿脑性麻痹专委会。2026第三届全球中医春晚联欢会上荣获“全球中医国际推广杰出贡献奖”，获评“年度中医代表人物”。
